In the last post we learned about satellite systems and dongles, now we how upgrade our microbox dongle with its new software.

First, we should download the newest software. There are many websites that offer the software but we should take care from some softwares that are edited and uploaded by users not experts or official versions. For example of a website that offer the official software with many other satellite related things is www.Najmsat.com

After we download the software and extract it from the rar archive, we open it to see this :

Then we select which COM Port we have attached the serial RS-232 Cable into. If you are using a USB-to-Serial converter we should select the checkbox on the window :

Advantages of using Windows Live Writer

Blogging directly on your website has many drawbacks. As an example, changing the font directly on your WordPress powered website is not a straight forward issue. Using Live Writer gives you the chance to specify the font in a click and preserve your font choice when publishing. It is very hard to drop shadows for pictures directly on your website. An amazing thing Microsoft Live Writer can do is the simple editing dedicated for long posts. Lets say that you have a very long post. Using your browser to edit requires downloading it all first, editing it then uploading it all again. Microsoft Live Writer uploads the edited part only saving time and bandwidth. Moreover, after writing very long posts, press the publish button and take a nap as Live Writer will post it for you.

Live Writer gives you the ability to preview your blog even when you are offline by downloading the blog theme automatically when it first recognizes it. Recognizing happens only once. You can know exactly how your blog will look before publishing it. The html source can be viewed and edited without waiting a second.

Using Live Writer with Chillups

Please follow these steps to use Windows Live Writer to post blogs with chillups.

1. Go to Tools and choose Accounts

   

2.  Choose the Add button to add a new account

   
   

3.  Choose “Other blog service”

   

4.  Fill the web address with http://www.chillups.com. Fill the Username and password that you use to log in to Chillups. Note that you cannot register from here.

   
   

5. Now wait for Live Writer to recognize Chillups theme or your blog theme.

6.  Press Yes

7.  Wait till your account is being set up

8. Now name your account

تصدر التأكيدات، وتتصاعد «التطمينات»، وتُستنكر «التهويلات»، وتُشجَب التهديدات.. كل ذلك لدى الحديث عن الحرب «الإسرائيلية» المقبلة على لبنان، الموضوع المتداوَل منذ نهاية عدوان تمّوز؛ فما إن أقفل جنود «الجيش الذي لا يُقهَر» عائدين إلى أحضان أمهاتهم باكين، أو إلى أسرّة مستشفيات الأمراض العصبية، في آب 2006، حتى انبرت الأبواق «اللبنانية»، المطالبة بـ «السيادة التامة»، وبحصر «قرار السلم والحرب»، تحفر في باطن الأرض، وفي آبار النفط، وبين القبور، وفي خطابات مناحم بيغن، وفي رسائل «أطفال إسرائيل» الصاروخية «إلى أطفال لبنان»، من أجل العثور على أدلّة على أن الحكومة «الإسرائيلية» تحضّر لحرب جديدة على لبنان..

وهكذا، بات أيُّ تصريح يطلقه ملازم في «جيش الدفاع» (دفاع؟) لرفع معنويات جنوده، رسالة سياسية تنطوي على تهديد لحزب الله، الذي يشكّل خطراً على لبنان، بامتلاكه «قرار الحرب والسلم»، فأي حرب قد يشنها «جيش الله المختار» على لبنان، يدفع ثمنها اللبنانيون، لا حزب الله وحده.

واللافت أن «الرادارات» اللبنانية، الآتية من القرون الأوروبية الوسطى بمعظمها، حيث تحالف رجال الدين والإقطاع حاكم، تلتقط تارةً إشارات تفيد بأن الحرب وشيكة، وطوراً إشارات أخرى تدل على أن موعدها، الآتي حتماً، سيتأخر إلى أجل غير بعيد؛ فالموضوعية تقتضي التنويع في التحليل، وأركان تحالف المال والإقطاع والميليشيات في لبنان، هم أرباب الموضوعية.

وتُعاضِدُ هذه «الرادارات»، بعضُ الأصوات «العزرائيلية» المنطلقة من «أشداق» ذوي الأمر والطاعة في عصابات بني صهيون، معلنة استعدادها لـ «التحرك ضد حزب الله، حتى في مناطق مأهولة إذا اقتضي الأمر»، بحسب غبي أشكينازي، الذي استدرك بأن «الوضع الآن هادئ»، على طريقة رجل في البور، وأخرى في الفلاحة، أو على طريقة المتخاطرين معه فكرياً من «اللبنانيين»، الذين يتلاعبون في تصريحاتهم بتقديم موعد العدوان «الموعود» وتأخيره.

ولكن في سنته الأخيرة على رأس العصابات الصهيونية، يبدو وضع أشكينازي أكثر تعقيداً من أن يحضّر لعدوان آخر يخرج منه جنوده، إذا خرجوا، باحثين عن أسرّة في المصحّات النفسية، التي تبدو غير كافية لاستيعاب كل من قد يحتاج إلى العلاج. فالمسمَّى «رئيس الأركان الإسرائيلي»، منشغل في «ترقيع» عمليات الانتحار التسعة عشر التي حدثت في جيشه في الأشهر الستة الأخيرة، بزيادة وصلت إلى 100 بالمئة نسبة إلى العام الماضي، في حين تزايدت عمليات التهرّب من الخدمة العسكرية بنسبة 50 بالمئة، إلى حد أن القيادة قد فقدت الثقة بجنودها.

ورغم ما ذكرته «السفير» على لسان بيلمار، المدعي العام أمام المحكمة الدولية، حول القرارات الظنية المتوقع صدورها في حق عناصر من حزب الله، إلا أن أمر المحكمة قد استُهلكَ، وفقدت «الموقّرة» مصداقيها، بعد انكشاف شهود الزور أولاً، ثمّ بعد خروج مسألة العملاء في شركتي الخلوي إلى الأضواء، خصوصاً أن جزءاً كبيراً من التحقيقات مبنيّ على «الداتا» التي وفّرتها الشركتان؛ يضاف إلى كل ذلك، أن بيلمار أكّد، ودائماً بحسب «السفير»، تلقّيه معلومات غير رسمية من الجيش اللبناني، بأنه لن يحاول القبض على أيّ عنصر من حزب الله.

قد تتوسع مروحة التحليلات لتضع حزب الله، عن حقّ ربما، في إطار الاستهداف من خلال المحكمة الدولية، وقد يكون المُطَمْئنون إلى أن لا حرب مُحِقِّين، وقد يكون «المهوّلون» مُحِقِّين، إلا أن دخول الكيان الاستعماري في حرب ضدّ لبنان، يبدو مثل تصرّف طفل يرمي بنفسه إلى النار، ليثبت أنه قد صار «كبيراً».

ملاحظة: ورد في الفقرة الرابعة «وتُعاضِدُ… وتأخيره»، خطآن مطبعيان، إلا أننا ارتأينا تركهما على حالهما، لانعدام الفارق في المعنى بين ما كُتِب، وما أردنا كتابته؛ فاقتضى التوضيح.

Watching scrambled  (encrypted) satellite TV channels is easy nowadays, because of all the different methods available.

The old ways were using CAMs and receivers that emulate the original CAMs and Card keys. But this way is inefficient since the keys and encryption methods vary daily by the administrators.

The new way for watching these channels is by SHARING the codes. This can be done either by using internet sharing, which needs internet all the time, or by using a receiver that includs a network port for internet usage. Moreover, sharing servers controls what codes to share, and they could ask you for some fees.

The other way is using ” Satellite Sharing” which is the most efficient way. To use this method, you should have a “Dongle” which is a small FTA receiver – having its flash memory software changed- and a small dish pointed to the desired satellite that the dongle uses.

Using this method the Microbox providers share their original keys for the packages for everyone using the satellite, which has uninterrupted connection.

There are many dongles to use in the market, such as : Microbox – Timer – Y6 – Y4 – HiTech – Dreamer -
Morebox – Dark star and many others.

Our interest is in the “Microbox” dongle that uses the Twin Protocol.

Microbox works on satellites Eutelsat W3 ( 7 E) and Eutelsat W6 (16 E). I advice for W3 but if its signal is weak in your city you can point to W6.

Its package contains the following parts :

- The receiver
- Remote Controller
-AC adapter
- Double RS-232c cable
-Audio Video AV cable?
-Infra Red sensor.

Microbox can open many packages on Nilesat, Hotbird, Astra and other satellites such as :

First we need the normal satellite system (i.e. Dish – LNB – Receiver and connectors) The receiver I advice for you is
Starsat 5300-6300 USB

Then we install the second dish and point it to one of the two mentioned satellites ( W3 or W6) and connect it to Microbox using
the coaxial cable. After that connect the Microbox to the receiver using the RS-232  cable.

The receiver should be set to use the Twin protocol service. If you can’t find it in your receiver’s menu, you should then
update your receiver by the its last update.

Note : The Microbox Dongle needs to be updated every 15 to 30 days to keep opening the packages correctly without interruption.

Sizing:

The aim of this procedure is to determine the size of the solar array and battery capacity. These parameters can be estimated using the simplified formulas described below. The first steps are to consider the solar radiation available (Ei) abd calculate the daily consumption (Ed)

Solar radiation Ei:

The solar radiation is expressed in Watt-hour per square meter per day (KWh/m²/d). The radiated energy available depends on the geographical location of the site.

Daily consumption Ed:

Ed is obtained by multiplying the electrical power by the daily running time of the load. The simplified daily consumption formula:

Ed = P x T

Ed: daily consumption (Wh/d)

P: rated power in watts (W)

T: running time in hours per day (h/d)

Solar Sizing Pc:

The simplified solar array formula:

Pc = Ed/(0.6 x Ei)

Pc: solar array peak power (Wp)

Ed: daily consumption (Wh/d)

Ei: solar radiation (KWh/m²/d)

Battery Sizing C:

The simplified formula:

C = (Nd x Ed)/(dp x V)

C: battery capacity (Ah)

Nd: requested autonomy in days (d)

dp: Discharge coefficient (percentage of discharge at the end of autonomy)

dp = 0.8 for solar batteries

dp = 0.6 for industrial batteries

dp = 0.5 for car batteries

V: operating voltage (V)

Sizing Calculation Example:

What size generator is required tp power a 94 W street light system running 10h/day under 24V in Oganda?

Ei = 4.62 for Hermel area

The daily consumption is

Ed = 94 x 10 = 940 Wh/d

The requested solar array is

Pc = 940 /(0.6 x4.62) = 339 Wp

And the battery capacity is ( 3 days autonomy )

C = (3d x 940)/(0.8 x 24) = 146.8 Ah per 12 V battery

You can chat with your ebuddies on msn, facebook, yahoo and a lot others.However, one bad thing about ebuddy is that you cannot appear offline in all applications (like  facebook for example), which means that you constantly receive messages if you are logged in automatically on facebook, with no option to appear offline (except that you log out). I would definitely recommend ebuddy than the Live Messenger on iphone, for its easy accessibility on multiple websites.

Opera	Well, it is true that Safari is the best web surfing application for apple iphone, ipad and Mac. But I’ve got to admit that opera, although slow on iphone, has some benefits over Safari.With Opera, you can find words in page! And seriously, this is important and not found at Safari!
